Animal Health Contract Research Services

Moredun Scientific’s main business activity is contract research for the animal health industry, concentrating mainly on efficacy and safety studies in livestock. All work is completed to GLP or VICH-GCP and the data generated is used to support the registration of a wide range of veterinary medicinal products, mainly in Europe and the USA. A unique feature is that Moredun Scientific’s staff have access to the Moredun Research Institute’s internationally renowned scientists. Thus Moredun is able to offer a unique blend of commercial professionalism and scientific excellence.

Moredun Scientific offers clients the complete package for the registration of new veterinary products from initial regulatory advice and information, to the design and planning of studies, the in-life phase, the analytical phase and the production of final report. Our onsite Bioservices Division supply us with quality animals fulfilling the specific criteria requested by the client. The state of the art facilities provide a great deal of flexibility with regard to housing and group sizes, and a variety of different animal species can be housed in comfort at the site.

Moredun Scientific has vast experience in conducting a wide range of studies to the appropriate regulatory requirements as requested by our clients. These studies can be split into three main categories: Efficacy, Safety and Analytical Pharmacology.
