Trends in Animal Health Conference

On June 10th 2008 Moredun Scientific hosted a conference on Trends on Animal Health to celebrate 20 years of contract research supporting the animal health industry.

The event was held at the headquarters of the Moredun Foundation and attended by over 70 guests from the global animal health industry and research base.

The program covered trends in diseases of livestock and updates on regulations governing the development of veterinary health products. Speakers included Professor Charles Milne, Chief Veterinary Officer of Scotland, who highlighted the challenges in disease control faced by livestock producers today. 

Presentations from scientists from the Moredun Research Institute showcased their work towards the understanding, diagnosis and prevention of disease.
